As a busy mum working full-time, I constantly struggled to find the time and energy to cook, let alone plan new and exciting meals. Most days, just figuring out what to make for dinner felt like a chore. We fell into a repetitive routine — meatballs, chicken escalopes, curry from a jar — the same dishes over and over again. Sometimes, my husband and I would simply rely on ready meals, just to save time.
That all changed when Thermomix came into my life. I still remember visiting a friend who had the TM31. She made us some amazing drinks and cooked a delicious meal with such ease that I was instantly intrigued. I thought to myself, “Wow, this would be the perfect tool for my kitchen!” But at the time, I never imagined I’d actually own one.
Then, one day, my husband surprised me with a Thermomix TM5 — and it truly felt like heaven. I just knew this was going to change our lives. And I was right. Suddenly, cooking became something I looked forward to. I began experimenting with new, international cuisines — from Thai and Chinese to Indian and Spanish. I stopped buying ready-made meals and sauces altogether. Meals that once took me hours were now ready in no time, and packed with flavour and nutrition.
I was so impressed that I couldn’t stop telling my friends about it. Many of them had never heard of Thermomix, and some even bought their own — but from someone else. That’s when I had the idea: Why not become an advisor myself? I could share something I truly believe in, all while keeping my full-time job.

And that’s how I joined the East London team. I never thought that six years after discovering Thermomix, it would have such a big impact on my life — but here I am. Since joining, I’ve earned both the TM6 and the TM7, achieved many exciting incentives, and even enjoyed a company trip to Turkey. But what I love most is being part of the incredible Thermomix community. I’ve made wonderful new friendships, grown closer to old ones, and become part of a supportive, inspiring team that constantly motivates each other.
But perhaps the most special part of this journey has been sharing it with my children. Spending time together in the kitchen has become one of our favourite things. We bake cupcakes, make cakes, and explore new recipes as a family. Getting the kids involved in cooking is so precious, we’re not just making food, we’re making memories. They’re learning what real food is. We don’t buy any ready meals anymore: we grind our own spices, we make everything from scratch.
It’s a beautiful way of life, and it amazes me that one machine can change everything: the way you cook, the way you eat and the way you see food — forever.
